This procedure describes how to edit a file in the Markdown editor and preview it using the GFM Viewer.

 

 

Instructions on how to complete a procedure

To edit and preview an .md file in Zend Studio:

  1. In the PHP Explorer, select the .md file you wish to edit.
    The files opens in the Markdown editor.
  2. Edit the file, and save your changes.
  3. In the PHP Explorer, right-click the file and select Show in GFM View.
    Your edits are displayed in the GFM View.

 

Configuring the GFM Viewer

This procedure describes how to configure the GFM Viewer.

 

 

Instructions on how to complete a procedure

To configure the GFM Viewer:

  1. In the menu-bar, select Window | Preferences | GFM Viewer.
    The GFM Viewer preferences dialog is displayed.

  1. Configure the GFM Viewer.
  2. Click Apply to save your changes.
    Your changes are applied.
  3. Click OK to exit the preferences dialog.
