Configuring Extensions and Directives
The following procedures explain how to work with the PHP extensions installed on Zend Server and their associated directives.
If you are looking for a specific extension or directive, you can easily find them by performing a search.
|
To search for an extension or directive:
|
Extensions can be enabled or disabled according to your personal preferences.
Note:
Built-in PHP extensions (e.g., apc), and directive groups (e.g., Data Handling), cannot be enabled or disabled.
|
To change the status of an extension:
Notes: You can enable/disable more than one extension before you click . All the changes that are made prior to restarting the server are applied after the restart. If you navigate to other tabs, the changes you make are saved and applied when the server is restarted. |
|
PHP extensions include directives that can be configured according to your personal preferences.
Note:
Some extensions do not have directives. If you select such an extension , a "There are no directives for this extension" message is displayed under the extension's description.
|
To configure a directive associated with an extension:
Tip: Hovering over a control after configuring a directive will display the previous value.
|
Note: Directives of extensions that are turned off can also be configured through the Directives and Extensions page. Added extensions that are not part of the original Zend Server list of extensions cannot be configured on the PHP page. |
