Integrating with Zend Studio

To configure Zend Studio client settings:

1. In the UI, go to Configurations | Studio Integration.
2. In the Zend Studio Client Settings area, select whether you wish Zend Server to automatically detect Zend Studio settings (On) or not (Off).
3. If you select not to automatically detect Zend Studio settings (Off), additional fields are displayed:

• Zend Studio IP address - Manually configure the IP address according to the settings in Zend Studio or use Auto Detect.

• Use browser's IP Address check-box - Automatically selects the Browser's IP Address.

• Zend Studio Debug Port - Manually configure the port according to the settings in Zend Studio or use Auto Detect.

• Encrypt communication using SSL check-box - Increase the security protocol for communication.

4. Click Save.

Note:

Manual configuration settings should be based on the IP and port configured in Zend Studio's Installed Debuggers preferences page. The preferences page is accessed in Zend Studio from Window | Preferences | PHP | Debug | Installed Debuggers. The default port number is 20080.

To configure Zend Studio client settings:

1. In the UI, go to Configurations | Studio Integration.
2. In the Zend Studio Clients Filtering for Debugging area, configure the Allowed and Denied host lists:
   1. Enter the IP addresses in the hyphen-separated fields.
   2. Select a Net Mask from the IP suffix drop-down menu.
   3. Click .

3. Click Save.

To remove an IP from the lists, just click the X to the right of the IP address you wish to remove.

To diagnose with Zend Studio:

1. In the UI, go to Overview | Events.

2. Hover over the relevant event, click the drop-down menu on the right-side of the event, and select one of the following options:

• Debug in Zend Studio - Initiates a debug session for the event URL in Zend Studio.
• Profile in Zend Studio - Profiles the event URL, using the Zend Studio Profiler with the same parameters (GET, POST, COOKIE, HTTP headers, etc.).
• Show in Zend Studio - Opens the file where the event occurred in Zend Studio. This option makes it possible to use Zend Studio to edit files and implement changes for multiple servers.
• Export to Zend Studio - Generates a .zsf file containing the selected event's information that can be imported into Zend Studio. See the Zend Studio Online Help for more details.

1. In the UI, go to Overview | Events.
2. In the Events List, click an event ID.
   The Event Details page is displayed.
3. In the Zend Studio Diagnostics area, click an action button:

• - Initiates a debug session for the event URL in Zend Studio.
• - Profiles the event URL, using the Zend Studio Profiler with the same parameters (GET, POST, COOKIE, HTTP headers, etc.).
• - Opens the file where the event occurred in Zend Studio. This option makes it possible to use Zend Studio to edit files and implement changes for multiple servers.
• - Generates a .zsf file containing the selected event's information that can be imported into Zend Studio. See the Zend Studio Online Help for more details.
• - Allows you to select the server upon which you would like to perform the Zend Studio diagnostics. See Diagnosing Using an Alternative Server below for more details.

These actions can also be performed from the Event Details page. For more information, see Events.

To diagnose with Zend Studio using an alternative server:

1. In the UI, go to Overview | Events.

2. In the Events list, click the Event ID number of the relevant event.
   The Event Details pages is displayed.
3. In the Zend Studio Diagnostics area at the bottom of the page, click .
   The Zend Studio Diagnostics Settings dialog is displayed.
   

4. Select Alternate server, and enter the server IP.
5. Click .

Tip:

If you are using the UI of a different server than the one upon which the event originated on, and would like to perform Zend Studio diagnostic actions on the originating server, follow the same steps and select Originating server in the Zend Studio Diagnostics Settings dialog.
