Working with API Keys

 

To access the API Keys page go to Administration | API Keys.

 

This procedure describes how to manage your API keys from the Administration Interface. The API Keys page displays the name, access, date created and key of all current API keys available to you.

Adding an API Key

This procedure describes how to add an API key, which you will need to be able to use Zend Server for IBMi's API.

 

 

Instructions on how to complete a procedure

To add an API key:

  1. Go to Administration | API Keys.

  2. Go to the Add API Key area, enter a name for your API key and select a an access level from the Access Level dropdown list.

Note:

API's may require specific access levels (required permissions). For information on the required permissions of API's see  Supported Methods.

  1. Click .
    Your API key now appears in the list of API keys.

For information on deleting an API key see Deleting an API Key.

Deleting an API Key

This procedure describes how to delete an API key. Once an API key is deleted, it will no longer be able to access Zend Server for IBMi's API.

 

 

Instructions on how to complete a procedure

To delete an API key:

  1. Go to Administration | API Keys.

  2. Mark the check-box next to the API key you would like to delete and click .
    Your API key has been deleted.
